Dancing about Architecture

“Writing about music is like dancing about architecture.” — Martin Mull, 1979

Four Buildings, Four Operations

Mull said it couldn’t be done. Four tracks do it anyway — music made out of buildings, from a viaduct at Millau to a Copenhagen park to twelve thousand tonnes of Brandenburg concrete. Sylvaine dances on it; Natsuko walks through it; Kevin kneels before a city that builds heavier than he does, then rises with a wrecking ball when he finds one that demolishes heavier still.

Potsdam has been dancing about architecture with dynamite since 1945. Kevin merely transcribed the choreography at 160 BPM.
